Event Page Redesign
Cleaner, faster admin pages for running your classes and events. Status is easy to find, each page fits on one screen, and the settings you need are in view instead of spread across tabs. The redesign covers the three pages admins use to run a class: the class page, the cohort page and the session page. What's built so far * Status in the page header. See and change a class, cohort or session's status right next to Save and Publish. Finished classes are read-only, and cancelling is final. * A session page that fits on one screen. Details sit in a main column and a side column, with a compact roster that works whether 1 or 20 people signed up. * Session times in one row, set with a time picker. * One ticketing card that stays put. Changing ticket settings never makes the page jump. * A clear access summary on the session page, and class editors can fix a session's door access themselves. * A tidier top section on the cohort page, and cancelling a cohort cancels its sessions. * Primary buttons that are easier to read. What's next * The cohort page in two columns, to match the session page: a light list of sessions with each one's sign-up count, an easier-to-read attendance grid, and session numbers that follow date order. * A default session length for each class, set with a duration picker, so new sessions start at the right length. * A compact Add-ons tab, the cancellation and refund policy as a side card, and door access as one card with a row per door. * A simpler class page: a header with a breadcrumb and a one-line summary of the class, and one Overview tab that shows what members see next to the class setup. Seven tabs become five. * Class and cohort pages that show their layout right away and fill in quickly. * The same status names everywhere across classes, cohorts and sessions. Good to know * This redesign covers the admin pages. The pages members book from aren't part of it. Upvote or comment if there's a part of running a class in MakerVera that slows you down.

Canada Support (Ontario first)
Run your Canadian makerspace on MakerVera: sell in Canadian dollars, give members receipts that work for HST, and follow Ontario's rules without workarounds. What's being built * Sell in CAD across memberships, classes, the store, gift cards and discount codes. * HST on checkout and receipts, with your legal business name and GST/HST number, plus a filing report for your period. * Ontario gift card rules handled for you: cards never expire and have no fees. * Clear sign-up terms: renewal, cancellation and refund terms shown before payment, with a copy emailed to the buyer. * Email consent built in: members opt in to promotional email, consent is recorded, and one link unsubscribes. * Set your province once, and MakerVera applies the rules for your area automatically. * Member privacy tools: export everything held about a member, and remove a member's personal details while keeping the financial records you must keep. * Ongoing accessibility work toward WCAG 2.0 AA on member pages, with a conformance report you can share. Good to know * Ontario first; other provinces follow. Tell us yours in the comments. * Not-for-profit board and AGM tools (voting memberships, registers, meeting notices) are a separate request: upvote "Board & AGM tools for not-for-profit makerspaces" on the Feature Requests board if you need them: https://makervera.canny.io/feature-requests/p/board-agm-tools-for-not-for-profit-makerspaces * MakerVera helps you meet these rules; it isn't legal or tax advice. Upvote or comment with your province, or the piece you need first.

Member Dashboard
A real home screen for members. After they sign in, members see what's coming up, what needs their attention, and what they can do next, all in one place, on desktop and mobile. Today the member home page shows only announcements. The new dashboard turns it into the place members go to plan their time at the space. What's Planned * A personal welcome with quick actions. Members are greeted by name, with one-tap buttons to browse classes or book equipment. * Your space at a glance. Whether the space is open right now, its hours for the week, upcoming closures, and how to contact you. * Next up. The member's bookings and classes for the next two weeks, with cancel and reschedule right from the dashboard, so they don't have to hunt for the item. * Membership at a glance. The member's plan, its status, and their next billing date. * Needs attention. Anything the member should act on, such as a failed payment or an authorization that's about to expire or recently expired. * Discover. Events with open spots this week, equipment the member is cleared to book, and, for equipment they can't use yet, the class that unlocks it. * Teaching. Instructors get their own card showing the sessions they teach and how full they are, sessions still waiting for attendance, and what they're owed and were last paid. * More accurate profiles. Profile stats show real numbers, and members can see whether they attended their past classes. Good to know * Guests without a membership see the dashboard too, with the parts that apply to them. * Equipment sections show only when your space has bookings turned on. * The dashboard shows only your own makerspace's information. Upvote or comment if there's a part of the dashboard you'd like first.

Consumption-Based Memberships
Price memberships by how much of the space people use, not just all-or-nothing access. A plan can cap visits, bookings and booked hours, each unlimited or a set number, with the allowance resetting every month or every week. Sell one-time passes for visitors, and let members top up when they need more. This lets you build a plan ladder like "3 visits a month" up to "25 visits a month", offer day passes and punch cards, and keep heavy use of shared tools fair. What's built so far * Usage limits on plans. Set a visit, booking and booked-hour limit per plan, reset monthly or weekly. Plan cards and checkout show members exactly what they get. * Check-in. Staff can check members in from the admin side, and members can check themselves in by scanning a QR code at the door. Each member counts as one visit per day, however they arrive. * Limits enforced. A member who has used their whole visit allowance is blocked until it resets, and is told by email. * Plans that cover specific places. A plan can cover the whole space or only chosen workspaces and equipment. * Add-ons. Offer extras (more places or more usage) that members pick at signup and pay for on the same bill. * Passes. Create one-time passes, give them to people, or let visitors buy one. A pass ends when it's used up or expires, and the holder is told. * Plan changes bill correctly, with downgrades taking effect at the next billing period. What's next * Members see how many visits they have left and get a warning before they run out. * Top-ups: members buy extra visits or hours when they hit their limit, and staff can adjust an allowance by hand. * Members add and remove add-ons themselves, and add-ons carry over when they change plans, with a clear plan-change dialog that shows the price before confirming. * Booking limits enforced, with the booking panel showing what's left of the allowance. * Door access: active members get standing door access, and door unlocks (starting with OpenPath) count as visits automatically. * A utilization report showing how members actually use the space. Upvote or comment if there's a piece of this you need first.
